A teleconference is, on the other hand, a conference that takes place at a distance, which can be through a video or audio system. A videoconference usually presents the speaker through a screen, while the assistants can be gathered in the same physical place or dispersed in different places as long as they have access to the same transmission.

As far as the audio teleconference is concerned, it is a telephone conversation with several participants at the same time.

In the case of video conferencing, communication through it is carried out in real time, that is, people talk at the same time (unlike other types of communication where people talk through audio or video recordings). And, currently, there are several systems that allow this type of conference.

With companies increasingly adopting home office systems (remote work), video conferencing has become increasingly popular.

Among the characteristics of videoconferences, there is the possibility of simultaneous transmission of audio and video, but there is also the possibility of sharing tools among a group (people in the videoconference can use the same tool, cooperating) or even share information.

Videoconferencing has the following advantages: saving time and resources, as people do not need to travel from one city to another or from one country to another, nor do they need to spend on these trips, and the meeting can also be recorded and accessed later, allowing even be used as a guide, for example.

Conference can also be an instance with the participation of society, that is, where, for example, the public power invites society to participate in the management, planning or control of one or more public policies.

This type of conference is a space where people get together to discuss matters of interest to society or that generate some kind of influence for it. For example: through the conferences, topics such as education, health, security, culture, infrastructure, among others, are debated. There are conferences that have a period of time between editions that is determined by law .
